Crystina the Explorer
On the Way to Big Sur
July 16, 2016
Crystina is a friend of mine from a time when I lived in south Florida. Together we spent time wandering around the Everglades and the Florida keys. She is not only an excellent photographer, but an explorer and writer. She now lives in Fairbanks, Alaska (“temporarily!” she promises) studying paleontology and journalism at the university. This past July she flew into Redondo Beach, and we spent a week or so exploring the coast, the inland valley, and photographing tiny, out of the way towns. Crystina has abandoned her heavy SRL Nikon and now uses a mirrorless Sony Alpha 6300, with adapters for her Nikon lenses.
