Wooden Fence on Side Street

Redondo Beach, California

May 2, 2016

This is the sixth in an on-going series of journal entries containing a wide assortment of Redondo Beach photographs. Growing out from the splintering wood and chipped, crumbling paint of an old fence I discovered a constellation of bright purple flowers growing on thin vines pushing through a cluster of beautiful, textured green leaves. Here was a little microcosm of brilliant, brightly colored flora clinging to life on the surface of an old fence.
