Incoming Storm Over Biscayne Bay
August 17, 2012
This is the sixth in a series of images from south Florida, in particular, in and around Miami Beach where I once lived on a small island (Normandy Isle) in Biscayne Bay.
During the summer, thunderstorms are a way of life in south Florida. Almost every day they rise as a dense black wall high over the Everglades and move eastward towards the Atlantic (where the cold waters of the ocean suck out their life and they fade away in a downpour of cold rain).
